I believe that hospitality is the heartbeat of a community and strive to build events in my business that support, connect or grow our community. I am the co-owner of Bo’s Bar & Stage which is a hybrid venue, bar and restaurant in Red Deer.

Karen is a seasoned hospitality professional, having worked as a sommelier for some of Calgary’s top restaurants before segwaying into restaurant operations. She currently operates Empire Provisions, a catering and meat specialty business (c. 2016), followed by the multi-location concept, Lil' Empire Burger. (c. 2019)
